Aiden's First Day of First Grade

Aiden's first day of first grade started out well.  Until we got into his new classroom....  

Much like the first weeks days of Kindergarten, there were tears.  But this time they only lasted for 5 minutes after I left.    That's when Aiden realized how much he liked 1st grade and his new teacher.

4th of July, 2008

We spent the 4th of July in Chicago this year, where it is somewhat legal to set off fire works. The boys enjoyed the fireworks and turned into little pyro-maniacs. Hmmm... I wonder where they learned how to light 'em up?

The boys were missing their swimming pool while visiting Lolo and Lola in Chicago.  So we took them to an indoor water park.  They had a blast (Lolo and Lola included)!
