It's hard for us to believe that 2009 has come and gone so quickly! This is our second year with an "electronic" version of Christmas Letter. We hope you enjoy reading it and the rest of our blog. Here are a few of our highlights:
AIDEN
- 7 yrs old, 2nd grade at Tarwater Elementary
- Sports played - little league, soccer and golf lessons
- Favorite sport-football
- First Phan family member to make the playoffs in a Fantasy Football League
- Avid reader - favorite books - "Magic Tree House" and "Judy Moody"
- Received a "Worker Bee" award from the school librarian
- 5 yrs old, Kindergarten at Tarwater Elementary
- Sports Played - T-ball, soccer and golf lessons
- Favorite sport - golf
- Emerging reader - favorite books - "Fluffy", "Franklin" and "Biscuit"
- Celebrated 12th anniversary with the Freescale Semiconductor. The company made cutbacks and let go several friends and colleagues. She is very grateful to still be employed and still enjoys being a design engineer.
- Busy "soccermom"
- Celebrated 10th Wedding Anniversary with Kenny by enjoying a morning at the spa, lunch and a movie
KENNY
- Economic conditions contributed to the decision to close our "Dynamic Cleaners" business in March
- Day trading in the futures marke from his home office
- Played in a World Series of Poker Tourney in Las Vegas (June).
- Assistant coach on Aiden and Lucas's Soccer Teams
